This project was initiated by noticing fallen leaves on the pavement. These leaves (Ginkgo biloba) seemed to display an unbelievable resemblance to butterfly wings. This remarkable resemblance led me to collect a number of these beautiful leaves and pin them beneath a deep-set glass frame; alluding to butterflies in a specimen cabinet.
